Granville's Art Walk seeks to encourage commerce and promote the arts in the Granville area. With the support of local businesses and nonprofits, Granville's Art Walk offers exposure to local artists.
Granville’s Art Walk began as a vision of several local artists and fervent art supporters who sought to promote the Granville community as an ‘arts destination.’ Lori Clarke, owner of Art on Elm and Jodi Melfi, partner in the Creative COOP, alongside the owners of the ART @ 43023 gallery sought to create an event that would encourage commerce and arts in the Granville area. Inspired by the Gallery Hop of Columbus’ Short North district, Granville’s Art Walk was launched in November of 2016.
In collaboration with local artists, businesses, and nonprofits, Granville’s Art Walk, which is usually held on the first Saturday of every month, features creative experiences and exposure for local arts in all of its various forms. With sponsorships from The Granville Area Chamber of Commerce and The Granville Arts Commission, Granville’s Art Walk has gained the support and participation of many local venues including Moe’s Bar B Que, Day Y Noche, Three Tigers Brewing Co., uberburger, and SteamRoller Bagel Sandwiches as well as the Granville Public Library, the Buxton Inn, and other local businesses.
